Christmas Greetings 2011 {The Sieb Fam ~ Part I}

Hi there, we hope this finds you warm, well, and enjoying the hope, love, and joy of the Christmas season!  We are having a great time and I (Rosie) am trying to make this beautiful season last as long as possible.  With the photog biz being on hold for an unknown period of time I am excited to really be able to be present and spend this time preparing for Jesus’ birthday with our precious family.  So far it has been a wonderful time of memory making for everyone.  Over Thanksgiving weekend the boys got their matching Christmas pajamas and we decorated the house complete w/ tree and Christmas village on the piano, which is the boys’ favorite.  We have also baked and decorated cookies and little gingerbread houses, been decorating our Jesse Advent Tree with one ornament per night until Christmas, watching Christmas movies including going to see Dax Locke’s Christmas Movie Premier (The Heart of Christmas), making our annual Christmas trip to Toy Land and dinner (to make Christmas lists), had our annual Christmas party with some good friends last night after some bowling at the Spoon River Bowl, slept next to the Christmas tree (highly rec. an air mattress for this!), attended the Peoria Ballet’s performance of “The Nutcracker” and we are looking forward to some other fun things!! We dealt w/ some sickness early this month so unfortunately had to miss our church’s amazing Christmas concert but will hopefully be able to attend next year!  I am also hoping to add caroling to our list of fun Christmas traditions but would love to assemble w/ other local neighbors as I think if only our family went, I’d be the only one singing all the words LOL!
