February 2010 - Trying to keep up!

We have been thoroughly enjoying our new life as a family of five.  The boys adore their baby brother - B more than C I would say (at least outwardly) but really both of them are very sweet to him.  There have been only feelings of love and adoration etc.  They just plain like/love him!  I am so pleased by how things have been going.  The other day B said to C, "Hey! Get away from my baby!" lol - B reaaaaaalllly loves his baby brother and is always helping me with him.  He asks if he can "see the buddy, touch the buddy's toes, kiss the buddy" etc. It's so cute.  I have plenty of snapshots of J - just need to make some time to add them here.  Until then, here is the nursery.  The big boys are officially in their new room (it's blue!) and J gets the John Deere room.  I was happy to find JD bedding that wasn't obnoxiously JD :)  J loves it - stares at the bumper pics. :)   I put the older boys' names back up (they had taken them down) so they feel like they belong too and I like the idea of having a nursery like in the movie Peter Pan - more of a "baby/children's room" - and this way they are all part of the brother "team" - is that wierd?  Oh well ;)  I love it and they do too - this way they can hang artwork on their bulletin boards for J to look at. I still need to buy J's letters and paint them JD green - good thing the hardware store here in town has "John Deere Green" paint! LOL! :) Having a sep. space just for him really does make a difference.We didn't have one (well I had a changing area set up in the bathroom and was able to fill one HUGE drawer with his tiny newborn clothes, which by the way was put away already!) - He's growing so quickly, already weighing in at 13 lbs. and 7 oz. at 9 weeks.  He gained 10 oz and grew a 1/2 inch since just LAST WEEK! :)
