It's definitely JULY!!

Just some quickly for you as it's Sunday night and I've been relaxing all day long and am going to continue doing just that in a couple of mins. :) We went to church today, went to Johnny's Steakhouse for lunch (YUM!), played on the fun CAT playground in the new mall (didn't stay too long as it was HOT and we were still dressed for church), came home, napped till 5:30 p.m. (yes the whole family napped!), ate the leftovers for dinner (YUM again!), and then we spent the whole rest of the evening out in the backyard playing with water etc. You know it's hot when cold hose water feels good even after the sun goes down!!

Here are some shots from this week and just a disclaimer, these are all shot with my lovely little p and s that Ryan bought me last year to carry in my purse. I did edit them quickly on Picassa...but that's all I got man. Using my little p and s = more time with my kiddos! :0) Hope you are all enjoying a great July!!!

Our new favorite lunch spot. I placed B's place on the other side of the table and when he went to sit down he simply pulled it next to Caleb's and plopped down next to his big brother...how sweet! :)

We saw corn at the store and of course had to get some! R was on a business trip and I thought it would be great for lunch. C wanted to shuck it all by himself. He did a great job!! (Was very serious about shucking that corn!) Hopefully we'll be able to "do sweet corn" again this year and have enough frozen for the next year.

Man they're getting big! Of course B wants to do everything his big brother does!

All his hard work paid off, he sure enjoyed his first fresh sweet corn of the year!

Met my friend C and her three little ones at Grandview park the other day (it was all shaded and so perfect in this heat!) We went to the store on the way home and found something very special that we have been talking about getting. And it was on clearance for $6.93!!! Let's just say they had no problem going down for nap that day lol! :)

And a SLIP N' SLIDE!!!! Man it's great being a kid!!

Tonight we played on this thing for a couple of hours! Yes...I even put my suit on and tried out the old slip n' slide. I had always wanted one as a kid and can remember playing on one once. Well.....it's still GREAT!!! (No, we didn't take any pictures - fortunately for you hehehe :)) :D
