It's going

great here at SuperCamp WISCO!!! I am really enjoying myself watching the kids grow and learn. So many are coming out of their shells and have either let go or are working on letting go of the fear of image (FIMAGE)....it's truly something to witness that. I have taught/faciliated my mini academic course three times (1 1/2 hours each) and tomorrow we start our main academics (4 1/2 hours of Quantum Writing). I am pumped and my anxiety has melted away due to the last 4 four days of being on stage and facilitating my pieces. I will be honest I was afraid to facilitate for about 100 high school campers...but now it's all good. They really just big kids and thinking of my own two little boys at home helps me see them as just someone else's kids that I get to inspire to learn, grow, and step out of their comfort zone to make a difference in this world. It's really actually very cool! I do think of Caleb and Benjamin often but know they are in very good hands. I heard that Caleb got to have his own adventure and spend the night at his cousin's house!! How fun for him! We are all on our own little growing and learning adventure this summer! It will be neat to all come together again and live what we have learned. Ryan being home with the boys, the boys being away from me and having only their Papa and Grandma and Grandpa, and me being away letting them all be in control and me learning and growing to make goals in my life to become a better me for everyone around me. Whew!! Yay for run on sentences!!! Okay, well I need to go and work on my main academic stuff. The kids are all out on the high ropes course right now learning about themselves and how they show up and want to show up in life. It is really something to see the most confident, atheletic, and good looking kid out of the whole group stand up on top of the 30 foot high pole (with harnesses and helmet on of course!) and just shake...get emotional...and then continue to shake as he jumps to touch the rope that is hanging just as high up but about 10 feet out in front of him. After he jumped he was belayed down to the ground and was celebrated by his team huddled up around him screaming "Nathan, Nathan, Nathan, Nathan!!!" one word... AWESOME!! Well, hope you are having a great one! Feel free to leave comments in the comment box if you have time, I would love to hear from you!!!

We are glad all is going well for you. Ben learned that he liked red grapes this evening at Trista's B'day party. Of course, they tasted better because he got to help himself off of MY plate. He had one in his mouth before I realized it. Then continued to take more. Ryan is working with him on going down the stairs by himself. He will go up three steps and than come back down without being told - just playing. Caleb continues to "mow" with his tricycle every day when he isn't farming in the sandbox. He's totally content to spend hours outside on his own.

The more I read about Super Camp, the more I wish it was more accessible to more kids. Its sounds fun and great.

Rosie, I think I would have loved to have you as my teacher! I hope you get more opportunities as your kids get older to use that gift!
