It's late...(again)...I just finished posting some proofs on my SDG blog and thought I would stop by this one too :) We are about...67% done unpacking...which means that we have 33% left to go. This one has been a hard one to do as we are working with less space and it seems like less time since Benjamin is cruising furniture and wanting to be in the mix of things. When we moved in Dec. he was happy to just lay in the bouncy baby seat thing and look around. NOT so anymore my friends. (Walking around "unpacking" with him on my hip really just leaves me walking around...in circles.) Soooo...the poor little guy has seen the Baby Einstein Mozart movie a couple more times while in sitting the in walker than I would really like him too...(can you tell he's #2????? Caleb didn't watch anything until he was like 18 months old!!!) but no worries I can't really even leave him in there very long now as we are on all hard wood floors and he can now push himself to where he wants to go and grab things (like off the coffee table for instance)...he's definitely smart. and strong. NOT a good combo if you know what I mean. It's a good thing we don't have stairs (like to bedrooms etc.) in this house (again) because I think I would lose my mind with a young one who is not only standing at furniture and cruising around it...but one who managed to go up his first step at our friend's house the other day. We do have a door that goes downstairs but it is usually closed and locked...so that's a good thing. My goodness time is flying!! Caleb is doing better. Very clingy and wanting to snuggle a lot lately...I think moving is hard on him this time. We hung up his John Deere clock and signs today by his new toddler bed (in the room that he and Benjamin now share!) and he was very excited about that...so hopefully he is more settled tomorrow with his "John Deere room" in place :) You should have heard them last night! B was asleep and C loves to talk ( if you know him, you know this) and woke B up when he went to get in bed. B cried so C cried and they went back and forth getting louder and louder each time. B cried b/c C kept scaring him and C cried b/c he didn't want to listen to B and kept saying "he's crying, he's crying!!"...Ryan and I just waited it out and couldn' t help but chuckle at the sheer madness of it all!!! They did, however, settle down and go to sleep
and woke up with smiles this morning. Tonight B fell asleep first and didn't even wake up to C whining a little when he went to bed before falling asleep minutes later. ahh...(sigh) I think this sharing a room thing may work out after all. ;) Ryan just keeps saying..."how do you think our parent's did it? We all shared rooms..." and yes he is completely right...and we are still alive. :) Okay enough jibber-jabber from me...more next time :)
Here are some pics (SOOC) from Grandma and Grandpa's this past weekend. C loves to swing "highest than the trees" now... he sure is growing up quickly!
