Thought I'd jump on here and post before May 2010 ran out and I could never get it back lol! :) Seems that's how life is these days, just zipping by too quickly. We've had a busy but fun May complete with schooling, mowing, riding bikes outside in the warm/beautiful weather, grilling dinner outside on the grill, a few photo shoots for me (Rosie), a trip to Chicago complete w/ trainride downtown and a visit to the SkyDeck in Willis Tower (formerly the Sears Tower), four wheeling, and best of all (according to the boys) lots of farming/planting with Ryan. I think there might have been a semi/trucking day for Caleb in there w/ Grandpa Gene too ;)
We are all well and the boys are growing up! Caleb is doing really well at reading (I think anyway ;)) and Benjamin is recognizing his letters even more. It is really neat to be able to witness when they make a developmental/cognitive jump to the next level - when they can understand more. Jeremiah is 5 months old (today if you count months, and a couple of weeks ago if you count weeks) and is possibly the happiest baby (during the day ahem) that I've ever seen - right up there with baby Benjamin. He coos, smiles, giggles, laughs, and just loves to make eye contact with me. I can finally get him to smile and quickly get a picture of it. He would smile but then search for me when I put the camera up to my face with a blank stare...quite frustrating lol. Oh well - there'll be plenty of smiles for me to capture :) Hmmm..let's see. He can also stand up against the recliner/couch and sit up on his own too while propped up against the recliner. I layed him on a pillow on the couch and ran to get something yesterday and when I came back he was sitting up! The days of leaving him alone like that are over!!
Well, hopefully I can catch up on April (have to look at my planner to remember what we did lol! Will post some pics there too!) Hope you all had a great May! Summer is my favorite time of year, I can't believe it's here already - before I know it it'll be fall again ;)
