Benjamin's 2 year old Christmas unwrapping :) As a first generation Polish-American I couldn't help but go back to my roots of celebrating with the gift unwrapping on Christmas Eve. We did their two big presents and then they opened the little gifts from their stockings (that I stuffed in the morning) on Christmas morning.
Caleb got a "my first computer" (Leap Frog) as his one big gift. The boys each got 3 presents b/c Jesus got three (from the 3 wiseman). Okay well..three and few more. ONe big one (B got a train table), a box with some clothing items, and then their stockings.
Loving their Christmas Eve pajamas :) B says "KaCHOW" like Lightening ;)
Thank you Walmart for having a great display of John Deere Christmas stuff!!! Yes there is a Santa sitting on those tractor stocking holders. (no mantel but that's ok). We checked out those stockings many a time all season and the boys wanted them so!! I did get clearance ;) to get them as one of their "3" so that was fun.
The "finished basement kitchen" - oh and the top of that cabinet is not crooked that is called "lens distortion" - yikes! :P
The "play area, living room, what have you" the classroom will be to the left in the corner to the right of the workbench etc.

"My work bench" Just to the right there will be our "classroom".
Yes we are hanging on to the original avocado green fridge and stove that came with the house when we bought it. If you can remember, the whole house was this green and gold and...orange :) and some other 1970's hot colors :) They are in mint condition so we went neutral on everything else to "soften" the blow ;) Everyone keeps saying this color is coming back...so who knows we may be "cool" yet! :) If they ever kick the bucket, we'll probably get black appliances down there :)
Downstairs bathroom - Ryan's color choice, my deco choices:)

Extra bedroom in memory of our very first bedroom as a married couple (okay not really, but we did want to use that top quilt again!!!) We just l0ve that blue!! So now you have somewhere to stay, no excuses! :)

The party set-up. :) Thank you Mom for the decorations etc. :)

One of the buffets (desserts, salads, etc.) My favorite!!! Yum!!

CR's new crane that little brother took to very quickly!!

The coveted "dulldozer" as B called it. Thank you A Luanne!!

Who needs snow!?!? Cousins playing with the boys - so much fun!

Here are some pics from Christmas Eve (where we celebrated at home before going to my mom's on Christmas Day and then eventually to shoot my cousin's wedding that weekend right after) and then the Sieb Christmas here at our home on New Year's Day.The boys are getting big - they really (okay CR more so) grasped the true meaning of Christmas more this year which was so fuN!! Having our Jesse Advent tree ornaments with the devotionals to go along really helped a lot :) I really have so so so many more - but will have to break up the posts. December was really my first month since March or April to only photograph my kids and family etc. :) I'll try and post some more this week from our beautiful Christmas season - sorry to rush, we'll see you soon!! Happy New Year!!!
Love, ~R...........:)
