Is it wrong...

to bribe your child with chocolate to get them to eat their broccoli? Please comment if you would. What's done is done, but I'd like to know what you think anyway.

No, I don't think it is wrong to bribe someone with chocolate to get them to eat broccoli. Isn't that what dessert is for???!! We used dessert (or a candy or cookie) as an incentive (we don't use bribe, that sounds too. . .well. . .illegal or sneaky) to get our kids to finish their plates for years. They now finish their plates even when we don't have dessert! (Maybe dipping it in ketchup would work too--I can't believe what my kids put ketchup on!) Laura

Ketchup for the "trees" works at our house. :)

we always bribe with desserts to get the kids to eat their veggies. That's a normal part of life, right? :-)
