1. we have come to the consensus that that it's not the size of the church so much that we are evaluating (per say) as the location and distance. I have been thinking about my comments on that and would like to renig slightly on the whole "church size" thing. Really it comes down to commitment and attendance etc..involvement and serving. for us, meeting people has not been a problem (Ryan has always told me I could make friends with a mailbox)....(this makes me chuckle because I am sure I probably could - I got left behind a lot when when the "big kids" took off without me ;)....soooooo...it's more distance so that we can conveniently be involved etc. with Ryan's work schedule and little ones etc..but then again...is it really supposed to be "convenient"??? maybe not, but it sure helps!!!

2. we are building our "games cabinet" at this point in time. as C gets older I am recognizing his love language need of "quality time" poor thing wants us to "play with him" but then won't let us drive the tractors/combines etc...just wants us to "be" there with him...well this gets pretty boring for us adults so we are building our games closet/cabinet etc... we now have "memory" which we left at G'ma and G'pa S's and we opened Hungry Hungry Hippo tonight which Ryan played with the boys while I edited (and am supposed to be doing right now)....they had a blast. C is really learning just to play with others and to relinquish (somewhat) control of the situation...those firstborns!! Note to self (for Ryan) put brand-new game together BEFORE presenting it to attention starved children who want to play RIGHT AWAY and will climb up on adult putting new game together at all costs just to be close. ;)
3. we really love this area...I was driving today and just drank in the snow covered trees and houses, and the lanes on some of these houses!! they are so pretty to look at...etc.. it's so pretty up here. I did, however, notice P-Ville in a whole new way this past year, through my somewhat new photgrapher eyes...always looking for new places, nooks, etc. for interesting and eye catching images. I have THE PERFECT place planned out for fall family photos next year if any are interested! ;) I practically cried driving by it this past fall not having a family to photograph there (it was an off weekend for photoshoots)...next year!
4. that's all I have for now...i need to get back to work!
Have a great night everyone!

Here's a pic from this summer at the farm toy museum...can you guess what the theme of the boys' room is going to be??? :) Little B is a John Deere convert all the way. Even lays on the floor and "farms" now watching those tires roll round and round....too cute.

Here's B (in his Nanook of the North hat!!) helping with the new hardwood flooring we'll be putting in the new living room. Notice the vintage 70's carpet...yah baby!! Um..it's gone :) Until next time everyone!!
