So Soft Sadie...

Well...here you have it! The most exciting Sieb news since...well I don't know when. Certainly not twinkie day although that was pretty interesting. Sadie is for sure pregnant! And we have pictures to prove it! Ryan said that her head and face look the same and then I added in ....but her body looks like...a COW!! Sorry Sadie but it's true! I even got to feel the puppies kicking around in her belly when we were at our friends Tate and Ruth's house (the couple that is taking care of Sadie while we are on our little adventure). So, Dezmo, the proud papa dog was there too and just loves Sadie. They make a good pair I think. We were all so happy to see Sadie after about 3 1/2 months...it truly was a great time. We had plenty of time to pet Sadie and hang out with her as we had dinner etc. at the Westbrook's on Friday night. Thank you again Westbrooks! Sadie appears to be very comfortable in her new home and is a part of their family. Hopefully she will do as well at the Baurer's (I am sure she will, she LOVES kids and there will plenty of them there!) It is so neat to see her in this stage of her life. I can't wait to meet those little puppies...I never thought I would feel this way about her but it's almost like a mommy connection or something wierd like that. I don't know call me crazy. Anyway, another great weekend at Grandma Kay and Grandpa Gene's. As always, Grandma comes through and watches the boys for me while I take pictures in Princeville. What a lifesaver she is. I couldn't have asked for a more loving and helpful mom-in-law!!! Thank you Lord! As we pulled into the driveway Caleb noticed (because ahem...he was on Ryan's lap driving) that Grandpa had a couple of holes in his driveway....poor Grandpa I think Caleb reminded him 100 times that night about it and that he needed to fix them :-) I guess snowplowing on the gravel is not so easy and tears it up a bit. We really had a great time again and just love going back home to the farm. It's so relaxing and peaceful and Caleb gets to do his chores (feed Shadow who is on a diet now) and go to Casey's with Grandpa and get GUMMIES....what more to life is there?? (Caleb was already asking to go to Grandma and Grandpa's again on our way home Saturday night!- and he always makes sure his semi trucks stop at Casey's to get gummies when he "farms"...) On another note we are so excited for the Baurers to be moving closer to us! This means we can have scrabble tourneys (Hey Linda and Phil, I am getting better as result of playing Ryan every couple of nights now! So watch out! No...just kidding. I still need a lot of practice!) When I do lose to Ryan it's not by so much anymore....but when I win...I really win! Last night Ryan and I played and I started the game with 104 points on my first turn using all my letters and getting a triple word score! Pure luck I know, but who cares - it still counts right??? Ryan just kept saying..."if you wouldn't have won those 50 extra points!?!?!?...."

Hopefully those puppies will be here soon, it looks like Sadie doesn't have much room left!

We challenge you to a Scrabble game --- Baurers vs Siebenthals. David reminded me to watch out for Ryan, tho --- that last time we played he took one of his letters and turned it upside down and used it as a blank.

The puppies are sooooooooo cute!!
